Simplicity

“Simplicity” is the portrait that started my portrait style journey to date! Believe it or not, this painting was painted four times consecutively, in four different styles, before I landed on this one. It took eight hours in total. I immediately fell in love with it, and every portrait I’ve done since then has been in this blocky, unshaded style!
